Many many thanks to a small dedicated group of volunteers led by the Wigle’s and the Oliver/Johnston families who cooked, distributed and served 200 Christmas dinners and gifts to neighbours and friends. It may have looked different this year but the hard work, the generosity and the spirit of Christmas was still present! Thanks to all who made it happen and Merry Christmas to all!

Help was needed to take care of the front lawn. It was Brenda, Chioma and myself (in work clothes!)to the rescue to have it looking great for today. We worked even in the dark until we were satisfied.

Bing was asked to install a donation box on the front gates and it was instantly done! Nothing members of St Margaret’s cannot do. Thank you Bing.

So very grateful to our local police, PC Jermaine, for filling up our food pantry and for grocery gift cards that will be distributed to needy families in our community. Today was a great day at St Margaret New Toronto!

Thanks to Councillor Crimes staff for leading the community safety walk today with members of our community for feedback on the proposed shelter on Lakeshore. The conversation was meaningful and it was great to connect with the community and listen to the different voices.

Welcome Maya to the faith! It was a wonderful day of celebration surrounded by family and friends bearing witness to the love of Jesus.
