Nadia Bolz-Weber responded to the call to ordained service, and became a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, a denomination which, like the ELCIC in Canada, is in full communion with the Anglican Church. She started a congregation which was called a House for All Sinners and Saints, and focussed on outreach to the poor and marginalized. She was a well received speaker at a recent clergy conference in our diocese, and we are fortunate to have her lead these Advent Sessions.
