Here's a nice list of ideas for some of our younger parishioners to do during Lent. Some of us older folks might also want to do some of these! Thanks to Rideau Park United Church in Ottawa for the steal.

Our Bible Study will be help in the church hall at 7:00 pm this evening (Monday Nov 23). We will be able to sit in a socially distanced manner - please bring and wear a mask. People who are hoping to join the Bible Study this evening online at 7:00 pm - please send a message to the church facebook page and you will be sent the information to use Zoom. The Send email button should work or the Facebook Messenger service. This is new - please be patient as we try to make this work. Thanks. The irony of this as we look to study what it means to gather the community in the current time is not lost on me!
Greetings all. This is to remind you all that I will be live on Facebook at 6:30 this evening for Evensong. I do hope you can join me. Please keep vigilant in ...your own care, and in prayer for all people who are being challenged by Covid 19. Expect email updates from me again this week. You would all know that I have been in constant communication with our parishes throughout covid 19, but see the need for all of you to receive regular updates and resources for prayer and worship. In addition, as changes occur we need to stay connected. If you are not on face book, I will make every effort to broadcast at the same time on the Diocese you tube channel. I will be providing a weekly online worship, and Bible study every week going forward. Have a blessed evening. +John Watton See more

The video has some information and teaching from our Bishop on restarting the Eucharist. Although everything is subject to change depending on the wiles of the Corona Virus, it is our intention to begin the Eucharistic celebrations at Clarenville at 10:30 am and at Burgoyne's Cove at 2:00 pm on October 11th. It will be a bit different but, with some patience and a desire to be faithful to God's command as well as protect those in our flock, it will be a great day.
