We get asked lots of questions about St. Mary's. We hope we can answer a few of them for you Do you have to be Catholic to attend St. Mary's School? The answer is no, ALL children are welcome at St. Mary's!... Do you have school every Friday? We know how hard it is for working parents to secure childcare. We do have school most Friday's, if we don't we have a Before and After-school program that your child can attend! Is there daycare in the school? Yes! Not only do we have a Before and After School Care Program for working parents we also have a Day Care in our school. This is especially beneficial for parents who don't have time for multiple stops every morning. Do you have music and French programs? Of course, we do! We follow the BC School Curriculum. We also start teaching French and music in Kindergarten. Not all schools do that! Did you know that we also have a school band? Plus, we have an AMAZING Outdoor Education Program! Is tuition expensive? Tuition for your first child is very similar to the costs of preschool. Your second and third child receive a reduced rate and your 4th child will be free! You will also receive a tax-deductible receipt for tuition. It really helps out at tax time! If you are considering a change in your current education choice for your child or children, please consider St. Mary's. We are currently accepting registration for all grades including Kindergarten. Our Grade 5/6 class had a wonderful time snow shoeing today. Thank you High Country Sports for your support of our Outdoor Education Program! We are currently accepting children for 2021 Kindergarten Registration at St. Mary’s. We also accept students in all grades at any time. Sometimes a child needs a change, we’re proud to be another learning option in Cranbrook.

Our Grade 5/6 class will be distributing their painted rocks through the community in honour of our veterans.

We are very proud of our Outdoor Education program at St. Mary’s. Ourstudents have been learning to build shelters, finding peace in the outdoors and studying bats. Our Grade 5/6 class did the coolest thing! They worked with Dr. Robert Stauffer at Nasria Academy for Gifted Children in Las Vegas to calculate the circumference if the earth. We both measured the sun circumference at the exact same time and used the measurements to calculate.
