It may be +24c outside however over at Santas workshop, Stockings 4 Seniors the wheels are starting to turn......

Huge huge huge shout out to this amazing group of humans- especially Sandra Evans, her helpers & her family. To volunteer your time & take on the task of organi...zing something like Stockings for Seniors is amazing in & of itself. To put the heart, soul & Christmas Spirit into it that you all have is utterly mind blowing & I'm speechless. Not only did she organize this for our community, but her group of volunteers also hand delivered these Stockings for Seniors to each & every one of the recipients & sang to them- door to door, 17 times in the Bonnylodge alone; not to mention all the other facilities they delivered too. Some of the volunteers which helped to either applied decals on the stockings, picked up stockings or sort & wrapped lent thier beautiful vocals while we delivered stockings and filled some buckets(hearts) with some Christmas joy........the intergenerational interaction was incredible Posted with permission

The final tally is in....drum roll please ......246 stockings have been or will be gifted by Dec 24th!!!! You guys are beyond amazing Thank you for being you and All that you do

What an Amazing, and emotional afternoon .....huge Shout out the Cold Lake High School Student Council for helping spread some Christmas joy to our wonderful seniors.

Today I helped out wrapping the presents for the seniors. A huge shout out to Sandra for taking charge of this wonderful program for our area. I didn't realiz...e how much work goes into planning this year round and how much help Sandra needs to make this a success. I was to happy to help out. See you next year!! See more
