How to insert a custom hearing aid: The end of the hearing aid will curve towards the back of the persons head. The hearing aids should have a colour indicating which ear it should go in. RED is always for the right ear and BLUE is always for the left. This cleaning tutorial is for Signia/Siemens RIC hearing aids. Note that you must rotate the black stick into the wax guard in order to pull it out of the receiver. For most of the other manufacturers you just push the wax guard stick, rather than rotate. https://youtu.be/cbSvcRBPUMQ

Changing a dome on a RIC hearing aid. Most manufacturers follow the same steps. Always remember to gently pull on the dome after you’ve replaced it. If it pulls off easily then it was not on all the way! *for Signia or Siemens hearing aids, your domes will CLICK on/off.
