Experiencing tightness in your trapezius muscles? Try these 3 exercises to reduce stress and strengthen your muscles: :... Plant your feet on the floor, shoulder-distance apart in a standing position. Place your arms at your sides, with your palms to face each other. Slightly bend your knees making sure that they don't pass your toes. Face straight ahead, keeping your chin up and neck straight. As you inhale, slowly bring your shoulders towards your ears until you feel the resistance of your muscles. As you exhale, lower your shoulders down. Repeat this movement 10 times. Do 3 sets of these about 4 times a week. : Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart with your toes angled slightly outwards. Place your hands over your head with your hands facing forward. Take a deep breath in and brace your core to help stabilize your spine. Bend your knees and hips as you lean backwards into a sited position. Make sure not to allow your knees to go over your toes. Hold here for 15 seconds and then stand back up. Do this 10 times. : Stand up straight with your back flat against the wall Slightly bend your knees Keeping your lower back and head flat against the wall. Raise your arms at a 90-degree angle, level to your shoulders with your elbows and the back of your hands against the wall. As you breathe in, slide your hands and elbows up the wall until you feel some tension, slowly breath out, and lower your arms back down to a 90 degree angel. Repeat this movement 8 times. Once you do that, things will get easier. ... I know for myself, Mellissa Stone, as a business owner, I struggle with staying organized and prioritizing tasks. When the to-do list is so long, the feeling of overwhelm begins to set in. Sometimes I am on my A-Game. There are a couple of different categories of Scoliosis. Structural and Funtional. . It involves a sideways curvature of the spine which affects the spines structure. This tends to effect women during adolescence. This type of scoliosis affects the spine's structure and is considered permanent unless you receive treatment to the spine.... Funtional Scoliosis on the other hand is when your spine is structurally normal, yet appears to be curved. This is due to an irregularity in other areas of your body.
