Creating a nursery for our little Ezra was something I had thought about for many years. A proud mama to my stepson Greyson, I was elated to be able to add a si...bling to our family and have the chance to design another nursery. I have always loved the whimsey of childrens spaces. Growing up, I would decorate and redecorate my bedroom constantly. I see so much value in our little ones having special spaces that reflect their individuality and celebrate the magic of their childhood. Designing their rooms is a little gift I feel grateful to be able to give them and I always hope it makes them feel as special as they truly are. When designing Ezras nursery we had decided not to find out the gender. Ive always loved classic, neutral nurseries with a vintage touch that could suit a baby boy or girl. Thinking ahead, at the age of 19, I had purchased a vintage dresser, lamp and side tables and stored these pieces to one day have restored and used for this very purpose. I also had a special piece of art, gifted from my mom and painted by a family friend, that set the palette for the space. My nursery inspiration came from these sentimental pieces that I hoped would make my baby feel loved, and even thought of well before he ever arrived.
