What a wild ride this year has been. In March, we learned the true meaning of dance like it’s your last time on stage as our first competition of the season became our only competition of the season. We had our Shining Stars dancers performing from home and our Dare to Dance students coming together to create a virtual Finale. Our teachers worked tirelessly to provide online classes to our students in the Spring and our students continued to inspire us with their commitmen...t, enthusiasm and dedication. In the fall we were able to have a small, outdoor celebration for our grads and were able to welcome our students back into the studio for classes. When November hit and we had to move to Zoom our teachers, dancers and their families did what needed to be done to keep the love of dance going strong. We ended our December classes with over 100 of us coming together online to perform our holiday dance all together. It was truly magical and uplifting. As we enter 2021 we wish all of our dance families, past and present, a blessed New Year and look forward to when we can all be together again in person. We would like to take a moment to wish a Merry Christmas to all of our dance families both past and present. May you have a wonderful, restful holiday season surrounded (in person and/or virtually) by family and friends. We can’t wait to see everyone again in the New Year!!

This week will be the last week of classes before we break for the holidays. Dancers are welcome to wear their favourite outfit to class, regular dress code is not required. We will continue to practice our Christmas dance in classes this week. Please check your emails for info on our full studio virtual Christmas celebration on Thursday, Dec 17th at 6:00pm. (Please use Miss Amanda’s zoom meeting for the party.)

Due to the province wide move to red level restrictions, all classes will be taught over zoom for the immediate future. Please check your email for info on how to access your class(es). We ask all dancers come to their zoom classes in their usual dance attire with their hair done so that we can do our best to give them corrections and help them continue to progress. We are so thankful to have this tool to stay connected with our dance families during this time.
