Non-psychoactive vs. non-intoxicating. This is a common misconception when it comes to CBD. Up until now, most people (including industry experts) have referred to CBD as non-psychoactive as a way to help consumers understand the difference between CBD and THC. While it’s still true that CBD will not make you feel impaired or high, the literal definition of psychoactive is affects the mind. It’s important to understand that CBD does effect the mind. It can affect mood, pain perception, cognitive function and more. A more accurate term for CBD is non-intoxicating, meaning it does not impair you, produce a high, cravings or withdrawal effects.

There is no tried and true amount of CBD that will automatically work for a specific ailment. Everybody’s body is different and there are many different contributing factors to consider. If you’re looking to find a dose that works for you, here are some tips!
