Store Wars Invitational Finale has begun! Good luck to all our participants!

STORE WARS FINALS TOMORROW! Our finals is for the Store Wars circuit is happening tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall located at 1180 Barton St E. in Hamilton. The Invitational tournament starts at 10 am but please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to organise things. The Open event starts at 10:45. Please register through the site or bring a credit card if you are planning to attend the Open as we will not be able to process cash at the hall. Greetings everyone, Here are the details for the upcoming Invitational and Open events. INVITATIONAL... It will be held on January the 30th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall located at 1180 Barton St E. in Hamilton. First round will be seeded based on performance in the circuit (1st playing 16th, 2nd playing 15th etc.) with 3 rounds of swiss followed by a cut to top 4. Here are the sixteen players will be battling for the top four spots. 1 John Wasch L 2 Tony Brijeski XXL 3 Vijay Rasaiah M 4 Nelson Cravo L 5 Michael Brijeski XL 6 Juan Murillo XL 7 Gary Bento XL 8 Phil Bernardo M 9 Chris Engler XL 10 Don Komhyr M 11 Taylor Hanson L 12 Drew Edgar L 13 Jeff Levac XXXL 14 Jon Neale L 15 Peter Smith L 16 Ron Norris L Top four players will receive prizes in the form of store credit from their choice of the six participating stores (in alphabetical order): Black Knight Games Hobby Kingdom Kingston Hobby Nexus Phoenix Rising The Dragon X Planet Games Prizes are as follows: 1st $300 2nd $200 3rd $100 4th $100 OPEN TOURNAMENT Entry: $10 This event will be open to anyone looking to have some fun! This will be an escalation type of event with points starting at 60 and rising to 90, 120 and if there is a fourth round, 150 points. We will be setting up a paypal button on our Store Wars page (http://storewars.ca/) in the next couple of days for registration but players will be able to pay at the door. There will be a 32 player cap for this event. Prizes will vary depending on attendance with store credit prizes and possibly kit being handed out. From all of us thank for playing in our circuit.
