Storm Innovations has been my passion project for a little over two years now, the amount of hours I have put into building my business has been a little insane. I left my 9-5 to pursue my dreams and in hopes of finding balance and freedom to focus on the things that truly matter. This year was suppose to be my business’ break through year, a huge advancement on a personal and business level, and all my hard work was finally coming to life and I would get to do what I love mo...st - impacting, bettering, and transforming the lives of people around me, and this time on a larger scale. Covid-19 put a really big kink in my plans, our kids summer camps were sadly cancelled, our wellness retreats put to a stop, our charity and youth programs halted, my seminars made non-existent and my merch shop completely shut down. I didn’t think I could work any harder than I already was, but I guess that was a lie... I have been working tirelessly to reposition my business and move everything online in new and innovative ways. I am excited to share the hard work and amazing opportunity that has come my way! This fall Storm Innovations will be releasing an online platform called Storm Academy, an educational portal that offers individuals valuable life skills, and a large focus around confidence building, with an emphasis on nutrition, fitness, mindset, and much more. We have built an impressive first course that will be sold globally, and the biggest most awesome news is that this course has been approved and will go live on the same day on a global platform hosted by Russell Brunson, Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins!!!! Everyone dies and to die is easy, the real challenge is living and creating a life that can truly be enjoyed, a life filled with purpose and pride, a life that will leave a legacy behind and inspire others long after you are gone. Not everyone will go on to change the world on a global scale, some may change or leave a message to a single soul, but perhaps that one person will go on and change the world and they will carry your message, perhaps you will change the lives of thousands who will go on to change the lives of millions. Good deeds ripple throughout the world. We all have a role to play and we all have a message to leave behind. Will your message be one of positivity and inspiration, or negativity and fear?

For a really long time I used to try and hide my successes, my achievements, and my dreams for it made many around me feel small, inferior and just down right depressed. It was hard not to feel deflated or upset and most of all it was hard to keep shinning so brightly. What I came to realize was that allowing my light to be dimmed just because it was shinning in someone else’s face wasn’t acceptable, I was robbing myself of reaching my full potential and the celebration of my wins. If those around me feel small or inferior my shinning light might be what they need to level up or be inspired to do better. Their feelings of inferiority are a reflection of themselves and not my responsibilities. And lastly I realized that if those who surround me don’t uplift and inspire me, I do not have a circle that surrounds me but a cage!

We’ve all heard the phrase calm seas never made a skilled sailor for it is the wildest storms that make the greatest teachers and the same can be said in life! The adversities we face and the storms we encounter help us grow, the pain helps transform us and build our bravery, while the obstacles that we encounter help us be more skilled and resilient. Learning to navigate life doesn’t mean you don’t have moment of fear, doubt, anxiety or depression, it simply means that yo...u are learning new tools each day that help you weather the storm and push pass those struggles. It means you can encounter failure, tragedy and disappointment but know that you are going to be okay and continue on your path. How we chose to look at these obstacles also heavily impacts how well we glide through the storm. Instead of being afraid of what is to come, be excited for the challenges and the change that will transpire from such events - the days that break us are often the days that make us. Instead of focusing on what you may lose, think what opportunities it might be making room for. You are the captain of your ship, be bold, be brave, and embrace the open sea!

We all have those life altering moments that completely change the direction of our journey, defining moments that were necessary to get us to where we are today. What we don’t realize is often these moments of great change are evoked from pain and a discomfort so grand that change is the only option. Sometimes as humans we develop such deep attachments to people and things it can be hard to let go and it can be hard to see things as they truly are. We paint an image in our ...head and alter the reality to tell ourselves a foolish story. And when it finally breaks your heart breaks with it, but your vision readjusts and for the first time in a long time you can see clear again.
