We're growing again! Stormtec Filtration is currently recruiting for a contract Field Technician (Seasonal Overflow) DESCRIPTION:... We have an exciting opportunity for a contract Field Technician working out of our Delta BC office. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for sediment control system installations and maintenance as well as responding to service calls while delivering excellent customer service. This is a contract position. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform installation of sediment control, dewatering, and truck wheel washer systems. Respond and resolve customer issues arising from water flow irregularities. Respond and assist to customer requests for system relocations. Detect, diagnose and correct issues affecting power to the services. Operate and understand test equipment related to the maintenance of our equipment. Work with other technical staff to ensure the resolution of customer issues in an effective and timely manner Maintain accurate system records and support documentation for all work orders Ensure vehicle, test equipment and tools are maintained in excellent condition Promote a positive image of Stormtec equipment and services while providing exceptional customer service Various other duties as needed Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Goal oriented and motivated with the ability to work well independently High School diploma Able to perform work safely in all types of conditions - indoor and outdoor Physically able to perform all aspects of the job including (but not limited to) the climbing of ladders, working in confined spaces and the safe operation of hand tools. Maintain a valid driver’s license and must provide a driver’s abstract annually Experience in the construction, plumbing, or the electrical field would be considered an asset. Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required A positive attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity Interested Candidates should apply with resume by fax to 604 523 6607 or by email to [email protected]
