Is your favourite colour pink? It was mine for a while- then one day I decided that purple was way better and redecorated my doll house with craft paint and glitter glue. (Oops!) Today, my favourite colour is blue and you won’t catch me near anything bright pink! Funny how that changed over the years... This weekend was sort of a big one for me. My first car was a little Honda CR-V. It’s served me well over the past ten years, but it hasn’t been able to transport me outside of town for the past four years. It’s prone to overheating and few other things. It’s become a bigger issue as I have wanted to get my flowers to places further than ten minutes from the farm! After a long time searching, Jorden and I finally took a day to get this little car! This will be Storybook’s first every workshop.... we were supposed to hold one earlier but there was a struggle with setting things up outdoors so we can have everyone spaced and safe. Hey everyone, I need your help. I have a few really important questions for you guys... First, do you care if your flowers are certified organic? Second, You pay more for organic produce but would you pay more for organic flowers? Third, you may care that they are organic BUT would rather they last longer once cut? It’s coming up to my organic certification inspection- that’s right, these flowers are Certified organic! In Canada that means some of the strictest and leanest re...strictions in the world. (And it means that if a farmer says it’s organic you can ask for their PACS number otherwise they are not legally allowed to say they are organic- shop informed!) But it’s also an expensive process and one that makes your flowers fade a little faster without preservatives in their vases. Please, Please, Please! Tell me what you think.
