Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) and Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity are accepting applications for Story Studio, a new program presented in partnership with the Government of Alberta and Alberta Film. Born out of Story Summit, this two-and-a-half-day program addresses new approaches to storytelling, innovating with technology, business models for media content and more. Faculty for this immersive experience includes prolific director Rachel Talala...y (Doctor Who, Riverdale, Supergirl, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare) in addition to Alberta-born filmmakers Adam Scorgie, Avi Federgreen, Josh Miller and Alexandra Lazarowich as well as representatives from Raven Banner Entertainment, Bell Media and Distribber. The application deadline is February 13 and the program runs March 8-10 (departure date March 11).
