Ok folks! Fingers crossed that camp will be a go this year! They are accepting registrations as of now, with payment not due until May once the applicants have been accepted. As always, we do provide sponsorship for youths to attend camp for those that otherwise would not be able to attend. For more info on camp sponsorship you can message this page for the contact info for our camp chairperson.

Good evening folks! Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to have our AGM in person so we will be having it via Google Meet on January 13 at 7:30pm. Stay tuned for the link if anyone would like to join or call in! Also at the meeting our annual elections will be taking place,so if you’d like to get involved and become a board member, this is your chance! We hope everyone is staying safe and doing well during this less than ideal times!

What is Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD)? CWD is a fatal neurological disease that occurs in Mule Deer, White-Tailed Deer, and some Elk and Moose in certain areas ...of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Hunters and outfitters play a vital role in CWD surveillance and monitoring. The more deer removed from CWD high risk areas, the less opportunity there is for disease transmission. It is MANDATORY to submit all harvested DEER heads from WMUs 150, 151, 156, 158, 163, 200, 206, 208, 226, 228, 234, 236, 242, 244, 250, 252, 258, 260, 500, 501, 506, 728, and 730. Mandatory MULE DEER ONLY from WMUs 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 130, 132, 134, 136, 210, 212, 220, 222, 304, 305, 310, and 312. The AHEIA Calgary Office has a 24/7 freezer for hunters to drop off their heads for testing. The freezer is located in the parking lot behind our building at 911 Sylvester Crescent SW Calgary, AB.
