Hello Soccer Families, We hope this message finds you healthy, well, and staying active as much as possible. As our season would have been in full swing this week, we wanted to provide an update to you. Since our last message in April, there have been no further decisions made regarding the return to play in Ontario or the decision to cancel this summer's soccer season outright.... The Inter-County Committee, the committee which organizes the travel portion of our soccer program, has met virtually in April and in May to discuss what return to play may look like. For example, a tentative schedule has been drafted for a possible July/August season, should we be able to proceed with soccer. Each member has their own organization’s health and wellness as a first priority, for players and their families, and continues to follow all guidelines outlined by health officials and governing bodies. At this point, without any further changes made to the physical distancing restrictions by our government or the allowance for larger groups to meet, our season is still on hold until further notice. As mentioned in our previous message, should the season fold, a full refund of your registration will be issued. Just like you, we wish we could be out on the fields this week with our St. Pauls families playing and watching soccer! For now, we remain safe and we encourage everyone to get outside with their children when possible to stay active. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Hello Soccer Families, We hope this message finds everyone safe and well on this Easter weekend. We wanted to provide an update on the upcoming season in St. Pauls.... With the current COVID-19 social distancing measures in place, the upcoming season is temporarily on hold until further notice. The Inter-County Committee will be meeting virtually again on April 20th to re-evaluate and discuss probable options going forward. It would be our hope that a possible later start date may still be an option, however, at this point we rely on the advice of our governing bodies, healthcare experts, and any physical distancing measures that continue to remain in effect leading up to the summer months. In the event that the season may have to be cancelled altogether, a refund of your registration fees will be made available. Less than a week to the March 1st deadline! Get your soccer registrations in sooner than later before leagues fill up. A $25 late fee applies after March 1st. SPAA is excited to see you and your children on the soccer pitch this summer!
