Zoom decided to update this morning making worship inaccessible for many who were attending through that platform. We are sorry for this! Following worship, Rev. Richard recorded the reading and message for you to experience today or through the week. https://youtu.be/6R3uWKLiwFA

So sometimes (rarely but magnificently) we your ministers make a mistake or say something we didn't mean to say. Today in worship I was referencing a poster that was in the office of Pastor Sarah and said it was there, "before she passed away" when I meant to say, "before she left us". Whoops! Pastor Sarah is very much alive, but with her big heart, took my matter-of-factly mention of her passing in stride and with a laugh. Hope those of you who left before the end of the Postlude were not too traumatized. Have a blessed day! Oh, and here is one of the many memories that Pastor Sarah and I shared during her time here.

I posted this on my personal Facebook wall earlier this week with the caption: "How long has the pandemic been going on? Long enough for the decorations in the hall from March to be relevant again." We've been at this for quite some time, and while many are putting out a strong front, I think it is important to say, is ok not to be ok. There's grief running through us that we haven't even begun to understand, and anxieties that holds a lot of us prisoner as we struggle to mak...e simple choices we would not have thought twice about in February. Know that we are here to hear you, here to pray with and for you, here to walk with you from who we were, to who we might be with God's help. Your brother in Christ, Rev. Richard P.S. -> Big thanks to Doug Warman and others for all the blessed work that they do to transform our spaces.

Saw this on a colleage's wall, and could not help but burst out laughing. Enjoy, my kindred!
