First Sunday of Lent - BAS service

We are piggy backing our food drive and warm accessories event into one day and time. February 20th, 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at St. Peter's, 4333 Bath Rd. Kingston. The nights are pretty cold, the days not much warmer - Please help us to help those in need by donating mitts, hats, scarves and socks. The food bank is always in need, please help us help those less fortunate during this time by dropping off non-perishable food items. Thanking everyone for thinking of and helping those people who are in need.

Gee it's cold outside but we can do this "FOOD DRIVE" on Saturday December 5th from 10 am - 12 pm in our parking lot. Covid protocols are in place so please dress appropriately or remain in your vehicles until it's your turn. All donations will go to the Food Bank. Thank you for helping us to help others less fortunate.

It's 2020, and we all could use a bit of comfort and joy in our lives, but even so, we still need to save some Christmas for the actual Christmas season.

Happy Thanksgiving and God's Blessings on this beautiful weekend. Here are some pictures of the decorations for the service tomorrow at 10:00 am. Thanks to the ladies who decorated and our Altar Guild who always do an awesome job on our Altar. Since we don't have Sunday School at the moment some of the young people's crafts from past years were added to the decorations. Don't forget you can watch the service live on Facebook at 10:00 am if you didn't book in time to go to Church.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by our Thanksgiving food drive. A big thank you to the Stiles family for running it.

Friends, Rev'd Bram here. I wanted to offer a word of encouragement today. There have been many changes in our lives and in the life of our church. For many, these changes have been accompanied by much fear, stress and anxiety. Rest easy. God is for us and God is with you in this moment. ... I have also reached out to some Benedictine friends and invited them to pray for the people of St. Peter's. This invitation has been accepted and I have been assured that we will be immersed in prayer in the year ahead! Unfortunately due to some technical difficulties, we were not able to record the service this morning. We hope to be able to share next week's service.

Update for Sunday September 20, 2020. The service this morning cannot be lived streamed at this time. It will be posted this morning but probably around 12. It is our goal to have our internet issues fixed before next Sunday but construction on Bath Road is making this process difficult. Fingers crossed!

Thank you to everyone who called the church to reserve a spot for worship this week. Our 10am service is now full and our 830 service has been cancelled for this Sunday (Sept. 20th). Please remember to call the church before Wednesday's at noon to reserve your seat. Leave a message and our church secretary and she will get back to you as soon as possible. This is incredibly important for planning purposes and much appreciated.
