Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays is on Monday. November 30, 2020 @ 6:30-8:30 pm via ZOOM We are conscious that many grieving folks dread holiday time, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years cannot be recreated. Today we remember all the Saints that have gone on before. Today’s service remembers those who have left us during the time of COVId specifically, but we also remember all those who are dear to us.

Happy Thanksgiving Sunday!

St. Philip's on-the-hill 27.09.2020

The Provincial Government today announced the introduction of increased and targeted measures in the Toronto and Peel health regions to address rising rates of ...Covid-19 infections. These measures are directed at public gathering places such as restaurants, bars, gyms and theatres, but do not apply to places of worship. Our Amber Stage Guidelines remain in place for our churches that are open. In our Metropolitan’s Thanksgiving letter released this week she says With the second wave of the coronavirus cresting, we know that the pandemic will be our new reality for the foreseeable future. Now, more than ever is a time for vigilance, a time to abide by the protocols we have put in place. Thank you for your ongoing care as we gather for worship this Thanksgiving weekend. Today is #OrangeShirtDay, where we recognize the harm that residential schools inflicted on Indigenous communities and honour those impacted. We also join together in the spirit of reconciliation and commit to ensuring that Indigenous children matter. #EveryChildMatters

This year we will not be collecting food in person for our Harvest Drive. Instead, we are taking monetary donations for the Yellow Brick House. Donations can be made through our website (mark Yellow Brick House in memo) or a cheque can be dropped off at the church.
