Quarter-Circle Photography

Happy Friday, and welcome to this week’s edition of #FunnyFriday If any of you know myself and my better half JD Emard, you’ll know that we are two peas in a pod when it comes to almost everything. This man never ceases to make me laugh; however there is one phrase that has left me scarred for life. Cue story: I can’t even remember what we were talking about. Something that really made us both frustrated, and JD puts his hands on his hips and says, Well this really choke...s my chicken, I died. I could not get a grip on myself. I’ve never heard such a phrase and thought this to be hilarious. Now, you know when you’re around someone enough and you start mimicking the things that they do? ............ For a day job, I’m an agricultural account manager. I help farmers/ranchers/horse people with their loans, accounts, and help guide them through how their business is operating financially and give advice. They deem me as a professional. One day I was helping a client with their accounts. We were doing some clicky things on the computer when my computer started acting up and it kept giving me that spinning circle of death nobody likes to see. You know the computer just wants to crash. I start clicking some more (because that usually helps, right? ), and with each click I become increasingly frustrated. Force shut off. Force restart. CLICK. CLICK. CLICK. nothing. After getting myself worked up, I tried to lighten the mood in the room... I put my hands on my hips and said, Well this really chokes my chicken, The client looked at me wide-eyed. I thought what I said was funny. it was funny when JD said it to me. This client was not amused. They looked more shocked. So I stammered and said, Not that I kill chickens on a daily basis, The client responded, I don’t think you realize what that phrase actually means, Confused.. I asked what it meant. GUYS! THIS PHRASE MEANS TO MASTURBATE ONES SELF I had no idea. I legit thought it meant you were upset, and to express your upsetness - you were wringing a chicken’s neck. Moral of the story: do not repeat what JD says without googling the real meaning. #storytime
