May you be Divinely equipped now and always

I have been on many tours and have learnt one lesson: YOUR TOUR GUIDE HAS A GREAT INFLUENCE ON YOUR EXPERIENCE. Which led me to thinking and asking myself ....Who is my tour guide in this world?. I know that I know that I know it has always been God. When God is your guide and light, you’re able to see what others couldn’t see because you start to see through His eyes. You understand what others couldn’t because He raises your level of consciousness so much so that you... start discerning with His mind and Spirit. You’re not afraid of what the devil or enemy is doing because you start to know that nothing is too great for God’s Power and nothing is too Small for His Love. Once you put on the full armour of God and shining your light, no darkness can withstand you. Why should I be afraid or worried when I live in Christ and He in me? Choose to look for the good things in and around you today.

All my life, I thought I was in control; but God taught me that He was. Let go of your future and give it to God. There’s a purpose for everyone; when you arrive there, you’ll know it. When God reveals your purpose to you, give it back to Him and He will bring it to pass. When you’re living in fear, worry and doubt, every issue becomes overwhelming and discouraging. When you’re worried about the future(overwhelmed and discouraged) it is hard to find God because He is the I A...M. I encourage you to live in the moment then you’ll find that He’s there with you, right where you are now. He says I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Heb. 13:5-6 Have the humility to ask for forgiveness from anyone who might have wronged you. Also, forgive all who have wronged you: relationship is more important than who is right or wrong. Give thanks to God always. Be slow to judge and quick to listen. God says In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.... He is raising up an army against the works of the enemy. He says when the enemy comes like a raging flood, I will raise a standard against it. Are you available for use by God to tear down the strongholds of the enemy? Is destiny stirring up within you but you’re so distracted by the world?(For all that is in the worldthe desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of lifeis not from the Father but is from the world. 1 John 2:16) Is destiny bubbling up within you but you’re trying to hide? He wants to meet you exactly where you’re now. Just allow Him. Like in the garden Of Eden God is calling and asking: Adam(replace with your name) where are you?... what is your answer? You’re not going to live forever. What do you want to be known for whiles you have life? I want to be known as a friend of God, someone who has been with Jesus(Acts 4:13) someone who is led by the Holy Spirit and finally, as the bride who the Father can trust with the son. What do you want to be known for/as?

John 20:11-18 ... Dear woman, why are you crying? the angels asked her. Because they have taken away my Lord, she replied, and I don’t know where they have put him... John 20:13 NLT

Your expectations set the limits for your life. What are you expecting in your life? Good things? Bad things? Big things? Little things? Anything at all? You need to get your hopes up! For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. Galatians 5:5 NIV... We are to walk by faith; and faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hope can be defined as confident expectancy. Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. Did you know that you can’t even have faith if you don’t have hope? If you don’t hope or expect anything, how do you have faith or believe you’ll have it? Your expectations set the limits for your life. If you never expect anything good, you’re never going to receive anything good. If you wake up and hope it’s going to be a wonderful day, it will be a wonderful day. If you expect things to get better in your life, they’ll get better. On the contrary if you don’t expect things to get better, then nothing will get better. God will meet you at the level of your expectancy. Anyone who hoped for anything and then took the step of faith received whatever they wanted. Look at the story of the Roman centurion: The centurion replied, Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would. And his servant was healed at that moment. Matthew 8:8, 10, 13 NIV See, it was granted as he had hoped for and believed. It’s all about hope(expectancy) and faith(believing that you already have what you hoped for). It was not because of his wisdom, status, qualifications, awards .... simply faith. Then he touched their eyes and said, According to your faith let it be done to you. Matthew 9:29 NIV Make the decision to expect God’s favour and provision in your life. Start expecting to live a victorious life, start expecting to overcome every obstacle or challenge you face. Start expecting God to meet all of your needs according to His riches in glory! Live everyday of your life filled with anticipation that God is going to bless you exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond your wildest dreams! No matter how stormy the sea of life maybe, remember this: Jesus is in your boat and His response is always - peace be still. ~Charlotte Donudenu~

Which one are you folks?

It takes those who have been through a similar situation to know and understand how it feels like; they’re more likely to help. I have come to the realisation that the law of giving always precedes the law of receiving. Whatever you’re looking for this year, know that you need to put in the time, effort, self-discipline, self-confidence, sheer dogged determination, focus, faith .... if you’re not willing to put in anything, don’t expect to get anything out as well.

Have you made some mistakes in 2018? Learn from them, strike through them and move on. Dwelling on past mistakes only robs you of today. Trying to erase or cover your mistakes wastes your time, makes your mistakes more obvious and even damage your page or make it dirty. You have a fresh book for 2019. What you write in it day by day will become your story at the end of the year. We cannot change our yesterdays but we can all change our tomorrows. We’re either pushed by pain ...or pulled by a vision. May your pains and visions propel you to higher heights and deeper depths this year. May you live your life by design this year and not by default. Just as a builder needs a plan to build, a chef needs a recipe and ingredients, success is achieved through having a goal(strong desire coupled with expectation), careful planning, self discipline, grit and total focus and dependence on God(the true vine, our source of everything). They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. To get different results in your life this year, you need to change the way you do things by changing the way you think. Don’t worry if you don’t have all it takes to achieve what you desire. Just like a GPS navigation system, when you key in your destination correctly, and focus on the direction; you’ll get there eventually. Sometimes you might experience road blocks or diversions, that’s the learning curve. If you don’t give up and you persist, it will reroute. So only focus on what you want and do what you can where you are, with what you have; the rest will follow. Don’t look at things as they are and ask why? Rather, look at things as they could be and ask why not? You’re a masterpiece created in the image of God to design your destiny. You’re an inspiration and a blessing. You’re born for greatness. You’re here on purpose for a purpose. Don’t stop pursuing your dreams. Don’t settle for less. Don’t sit down and take what comes. Joseph ran after his dream with faith and perseverance in-spite of trials. Peter stepped on the water with faith despite the fact that he was afraid, David faced Goliath, the Shunammite woman’s son came alive because of faith, Abraham took a step of faith to sacrifice his son believing God will provide and He did provide, and the list goes on and on ....With faith, run after what you desire, expect to receive it and so shall it be!
