How to sell a 9v battery in a cocktail, for science. Just wanted to share part 1 of my behavioural science experiment, where I used cognitive biases to help my team sell a cocktail with a 9v battery in it. (I know, sounds like fun right?) Part 1 of my write up shares the framework of the experiment, while part 2 will discuss all the fun-filled details, research, and observations. Enjoy the read: https://lnkd.in/ePS4Q4R... I think because of COVID, we tend to forget how much the hospitality industry means to us. It's a social setting, where we go to "get away". We love the experiences we have there. I wanted to share one of my favourite memories of working in hospitality. Albeit, not your normal run of the mill memory. In my experiment, I wanted to see how creative we could make the selling process and what information we could gather from patrons, their preferences, and their surroundings. Have a read, and let us know what you think. Also, if you think of any other fun experiments, let me know. I'd love to collaborate.

Lest we forget.

Tesla is an icon (and I’m not just talking about the car/tech company). As a brand, they no longer have a PR team. They don’t even need it. They have a unique position that was hard fought. Still, with any great brand, comes an identity. The TESLA logo is sharp, defined, and modern. But where did it come from? Well, here’s a bit of a slide show to show you. ... #branding #brandidentity #iconicbrand #nikolatesla #tesla #teslabrand #logo #logodesign #moderndesign

Saw this comparison between a tree rung and fingerprint. As for as #branding goes, this would be a great conceptual #logo. I’m curious about that #stories each side could share. The tree must have seen a few things over the years and I know every person has their story. Overall, just loved this design.
