I want to thank all my good customers for making this summer a very successful tennis season. Many racquets, shoes, grips and stringing of racquets were sold. Thank you Geanie and Milos for putting tennis on the front pages of the sport papers in this country creating excitement for our young and old to pick up a racquet and experience what a great sport tennis is.Isn't it ironic that tennis has never been more popular in our region and yet once Timberlane folds in December, ...Newmarket and Aurora will only have 3 indoor courts to play winter tennis.We have triple the population now than we had when I first came to Aurora 27years ago and we had 17 covered courts for winter play. The value of real estate in our region is too valuable to make a tennis facility business viable. Hopefully the municipal gov't can step in to help our tennis community like they have for soccer, hockey,swimming and lawn bowling. That's just my opinion. We are gearing up for an exciting squash season this fall especially with the 3 new courts now open at L.A. Fitness. Attention ladies!!
