Restrictions Include: -Maximum group size of 2 people (Please note we will not accept single shooters) -Individuals visiting our facility are required to wear a face mask as per City of Calgary's bylaw -If we are running a wait list, individuals on the list are not allowed to wait at the facility. The individuals will have to wait outside/ in their car until we have space available.

(Restrictions Apply) Guest Restrictions - Members/ Non-Members can only bring a maximum of 1 guest with them... -The guest can either be a PAL holder or un-licensed shooter -The guest is not entitled to their own lane if they purchased a Guest Day Pass as per our usual protocol Range Occupancy - The maximum range occupancy is 4 people (maximum 2 people in each lane) Safety / PPE - The general rule of thumb is that whenever there is more than 1 person occupying a individual lane, the entire range has to wear face masks - If there is only 1 person in each lane, the individuals occupying the range are not required to wear face masks as per our current protocol - Disposable face masks will be provided ** Please note that face masks are required in the ranges once the individuals occupying the range can no longer maintain social distancing. If wearing a wear face mask inhibits your ability to breathe or worsens a pre-existing health conditions (ex. respiratory conditions), please inform a staff member and we will do our best to accommodate you** We appreciate your patience and understanding. EXCITING NEWS! AHS has given us the green light to re-open the ranges. As of tomorrow morning, our ranges will be open to members & PAL holders only. No unlicensed individuals. Please note that there will be a maximum of 2 people allowed in each bay. We ask that members do not bring guests at this time. We will be working towards increasing our hours however, due to the last minute notice we received we will need a couple days to get that sorted.... Once again, a big thank you to everyone who sent in emails to their local MLA/ government officials. Also, kudos to JR at The Shooting Edge Inc who played a big role in achieving this outcome. Hi all, Thank you to all of the people who sent emails to their local MLA/ government officials in regards to the classification Indoor Ranges in Alberta received. We are happy to say that it looks like we are making waves and that our re-opening date will be moving forward. We have been closely working with AHS to ensure we can re-open as safely as possible, as soon as possible. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the re-opening of our ranges has been delayed. We received notice from AHS informing us that the indoor range part of our facility falls under the indoor recreational classification. We are planning to RE-OPEN MAY 14TH *Subject to provincial guidelines* ... Although we are far from being fully operational, we are excited to take a big step forward. We are tentatively planning on re-opening our ranges to members and customers on May 14th. Please note that this date hinges on provincial government guidelines and may be subject to change. We are excited to finally return to our roots of being a gun range. Sharing the love of the sport with our members, customers and supporters is what drives us forward. The going joke the past month is that we feel like a library rather than a gun range - it is deathly quiet compared to what we are used to. The returning of that "ting" sound hitting the backstop will be music to our ears. Changes Effective May 14th: -We will be returning to regular hours | 9am-9pm 7 days a week -Range access will be permitted. Restrictions apply. -Monthly Membership recurring payments will be taken off hold -All Annual Shooting Membership expiry dates will be adjusted appropriately to reflect the range closure Range Restrictions: -Each Range Bay will have a maximum occupancy of 2 people - 1 person occupying each lane. -Members are not permitted to bring guests at this time -Each shooting lane/ bay will be disinfected in between customer use -No-unlicensed groups will be allowed at this time Although we are slowly reducing restrictions, we are still continuing to implement certain control measures to ensure the safety of our members, customers and employees. We realize that we are not out of the woods yet. We are dedicated to ensure that we do our part to re-open as safely as possible. In this time: -We will be continue to only allow a maximum of 25 people in the facility at any given time. COVID-19 UPDATE (March 28) Hi all, As promised, we mentioned yesterday that we would do our best to keep you updated as the situation evolves. It was confirmed today that we are considered a sporting goods/ recreation facility, and were officially deemed non-essential.... It saddens us to announce that today will be our last normal operational day for the foreseeable future. We are open until 9pm tonight if you are needing to finish any last minute shopping. Effective tomorrow, our hours will be reduced from 9am-9pm to 9am-5pm 7 days a week. We will be offering phone orders and same day curb side pick-up, however we will sadly not be able to welcome you into our facility. We will continue to do our best to serve our members and customers in the ways that we can and greatly appreciate all of your support during these times. As for our members, we are actively working to ensure all of our Annual & Monthly Members will be accommodated during the closure. COVID-19 NOTICE: UPDATED Hi all, As most of you are aware, it was announced by Premier Kenney late this afternoon that all non-essential businesses must close. As much as we would love to argue that we are essential, we understand that we must make operational changes and sacrifices for the betterment of Alberta and Canada.... There is no doubt that these are trying times. However, we take comfort in the expertise of our public health officials and the coordinated response of our provincial and federal governments. Due to the fluidity of this situation, we are unsure of the timeline that the provincial government is requesting for all non-essentials to close down. At this time, we are planning to keep our retail store open for this evening (March 27) and tomorrow (March 28). However, we are waiting on further instructions until we pursue further decisions. We will continue to update you on important information as the situation evolves. CONTROL MEASURES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY -A maximum of 15 people are allowed in the store at any given time. If we are at our maximum, you will be kindly asked to wait outside the store until we can permit you to enter. -Range access is suspended. Although most people appreciate our private range setting, we understand that it is hard to practise safe social distancing in our range bays. -We have informed all staff to be dedicated to practising safe social distancing -We have installed floor markings to use as a reference for safe distancing for when customers approach our employees working behind the retail counter -We are continuing to not accept un-licensed walk-in groups -We are continuing to implement vigorous cleaning routines of high traffic areas -We are continuing to empower our employees to use their best discretion when serving customers. COVID-19 UPDATE Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been carefully monitoring the progression of the virus and closely following the advice of Canada's public health authorities. We have followed their recommendations and have implemented certain controls in our facility to focus on our highest priority - the health and safety of our members, associates, and the general population. I am writing to you today to ask that if you are feeling ill, have been in co...ntact with someone who is ill, or have been outside of Canada within the past two weeks, that you kindly re-schedule your visit to our facility. As Canadians, we each have a vital role to play in combating this virus and we are all responsible for the livelihood of our community. In this time we remain committed to our members and customers: -We are conducting business at our regular hours -We have implemented more vigorous cleaning routines of high traffic areas -We have given ownership to staff members to use their best discretion when serving customers. If a customer is displaying any illness, we will kindly ask them to leave and re-schedule their visit to our facility -We are practising social distancing. Staff members have been advised to conduct interactions with customers from behind the counter. -We are ensuring that any staff member who feels ill does not come to work. We also urge them to call Alberta Health Services for further instructions and do not allow them to attend work until they have been tested and deemed safe. Although the COVID-19 virus is not a airborne virus, we are continuing to take extra precautionary measures by ensuring only hospital grade HEPA filters are installed in our ranges. Our current HEPA filters minimum efficiencies are rated at 99.97% on 0.3 micrometer particles. These same filters are used for applications such as laboratories, hospitals and pharmaceutical processing.
