Winter Fun Time 2020-2021
February 21 - 23, 2020
A message from the Strait Area Community Curling Club. As with many other curling clubs in the province our executive have decided to suspend all remain curling and rental activities for the remainder of the season. Effective immediately there will be no more curling or rentals until further notice. For those who have personal belongings at the club, you are asked to come during the regular league hours this week to reduce the numbers of members being at the club at one tim...e. For one hour each night; Monday at 6:30pm Tom will be at the club to let anyone who would curl that evening come and collect their belongings; Tuesday at 7pm Blaise will be there and on Wednesday at 6:30 Tom will be back again. If you are unable to make it during those times, please message me to make other arrangements. As for our Annual General Meeting in May, we are currently on hold. We will let you know closer to May when we will schedule the meeting. Given the unpredictable nature of the current situation regarding COVID-19 it is too soon to tell when regular events will resume. Thank you for all your patience and understanding during this time. We look forward to seeing everyone healthy and ready for the next season.

UPDATE The coat has been found! At Friday night's Wine and Wonderful Things Event, someone mistakenly went home with Marilyn Talbot's long black coat. Marilyn has the other one at her home. You can leave a message if you happen to have Marilyn's coat, or know of someone who may have it. She took pics of the coat that doesn't belong to her. It has buttons for a detachable hood, zippers on sleeves down near cuff.... Thanks and please SHARE!
