The year 2020 has brought a dramatic shift in our collective lives. As we look back, we reflect on some of the lessons learned and enter 2021 with a renewed appreciation for the health and safety of our communities and for our relationships with friends and family. We learned to be grateful for daily activities in our lives; going to work or school, dining out, attending events, or having an adequate supply of toilet paper. People adapted, businesses innovated, and the earth ...showed its remarkable ability to recover from the damage of human pollution. While we did not escape the global challenges of job losses, business closures, and financial hardships, we were thankful to be able to live and work in the safety of the Atlantic Bubble for a period of time. Most of all, we learned the value of human interaction and for the people that are truly essential in our lives. As we enter what will most definitely be a very different holiday season, please wear a mask, practice social distancing, and protect the health of our communities as we chart our course in the new year.
