Hello Thompson, here to give you an update on what's happening here at The Strand. You may have seen in the news that due to the COVID-19 virus, many releases of new movies have been delayed indefinitely until things stabilize. This included our upcoming showing of "A Quiet Place 2"and plans for other new releases - basically nothing is coming out in the foreseeable future and obviously people are being encouraged not to gather in crowds anyway. So for those reasons The Stran...d will be temporarily closing this Monday, March 16th. Tomorrow night's (Sunday, Mar 15) 7:00pm showing of "Onward" will be our last and we will be closed until the studios begin releasing films again and when things well... settle down. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but more importantly, we hope you and yours stay healthy and safe. We will post updates here as soon as we are sure of anything so stay tuned. Look out for one another and we'll see you soon at The Strand.

Hello Thompson movie fans, just a quick FYI you might want to make a note of: The Strand is switching it up a bit and will be changing our normal showtime from 7:30pm to 7:00pm, our winter hours. So beginning this Friday, Nov 8th with the premiere of "Dr Sleep", the regular showtime is now at 7:00pm and will be going forward. Get you back home a little earlier.
