I have to say I am pretty smitten with the new bird artwork, I might be biased though because I am such an obsessive birdwatcher.
A sneak peek in the kiln and the photo that inspired the new bird artwork.
Happy Year of the Ox! (Ok they are mini cows in the pic but that is best I could do from my personal photos. My husband Trent for scale)
Progress on The Pollinators, I have blocked in the bees but they still need all their details added, the honeysuckle is almost finished, next is Ladybugs. #strangebirdstudio #thepollinators

After 10+ years we are all stepping back from organizing the Nanaimo Artwalk. Thank you to everyone that help us out over the years, it has been a wonderful experience We are wishing the new NAC board all the best in taking over the Nanaimo Artwalk, no doubt they will bring fresh vision to the event.

Congratulations to Artzi Stuff in downtown Nanaimo! Tanya Streeter, the owner, has been selling my glass work and a fabulous collection of locally made artwork for 12 years, it has been a pleasure to have my work in her shop, I am looking forward to many more years working with Tanya.
First Snow These are the pieces I initially thought I had ruined, I made the decision to refire them and add snow to the scene, they were transformed from dark and dull to the freshness of first snow of the season. See them in person at Salish Sea Market in Bowser BC. https://www.facebook.com/SalishSeaMarket
