Thank you so so much to Dr. Cheryl for providing everyone with lunch from Liv Fresh Catering, it was absolutely delicious. An amazing lunch with an amazing team. We're so lucky. Missing a few of our crew....
The Health Centre will be closed on December 24 and 25 for Christmas. We will not be doing lab draws on Dec. 23 or 31 due to the holidays the next day and lab availability. Other nursing appointments, like dressings and ECG's can still be booked those days. We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas, as unconventional as it may be this year.
The time has come as we knew it would, that COVID 19 has arrived in our area. Please stay diligent with the provincial regulations - masking, social distancing, and frequent hand washing. Please try to keep your bubbles small with no more than 5 in a residence. Like all of you, we are getting tired too, but we have to keep working in order to lower these numbers in hopes of getting together with our loved ones over the holidays and getting back to our normal lives as soon a...s possible. Please note that if you have been tested for COVID 19 and are awaiting results, you must self isolate at home until you have been cleared by Public Health. We thank our community for your continued understanding; we know it is sometimes difficult to stay positive. Our providers, nurses and admin support are doing their very best to get you cared for in the safest and most timely fashion. Although we love the wonderful treats during the holiday season, we can't accept them this year, but we will be more than happy to accept double next year . Stay kind and stay safe!!!
Just a reminder that the Health Centre will be closed next Wednesday, November 11, for Remembrance Day.
Our first evening flu clinic went great. We are happy to provide this service to the community. Thanks to Strasbourg EMS for working with us and providing an extra immunizer.
This is as important as ever, to a balanced, healthy life. Every day. https://www.who.int//world-me/world-mental-health-day-2020

This is a very easy way to make your wishes known regarding organ and tissue donation. We understand it is not for everyone, but if you have chosen to be a donor, it is a way to have your wishes made clear and accessible in case your family or representative cannot speak for you in a timely fashion. It also provides information if you are undecided. https://www.saskatchewan.ca//organ-and-tissue-donor-regist
When you visit our health centre for an appointment you will be required to wear a medical grade mask. Masks are provided for patients to provide a higher level of protection to staff and others while inside the clinic. We encourage patients to use cloth/home made masks any other time you cannot maintain 6ft of physical distance from others.
The Clinic will be closed on Monday, 07September for the Labour Day holiday. Please be safe and healthy, and drink lots of water if this heat keeps up!
Lately we have been seeing an increased number of no show appointments. These include face to face appointments, phone visits, as well as lab appointments. It is extremely busy at the Health Centre and a missed appointment means not only a delay in your own care, but it also prevents others from receiving care in a timely fashion. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please try to to cancel with at least 24 hours notice so we are able to fill that appointment time.
The Health Centre will be closed on Monday August 3rd, for Saskatchewan Day. Be well and enjoy the long weekend!
On August 12, the world celebrates Youth Day. It's a day set to recognize the voices and initiatives of today's young people. There are some amazing youth out there just waiting to make our world better! Even though we are trying to keep our social circles small, there is no reason we cannot celebrate and engage with our youth in many ways -some of these ideas might help your family beat the boredom! https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/204913851785582237/
