I’ve been on holiday mode since last Friday, and OMG, what a feeling! Who else has already turned on their OOO email replies, jumped into their holiday jammies, and is now on-board the Christmas-movie-marathon-and-gift-wrapping train?

As an entrepreneur, it can be too easy to feel overwhelmed whenever your business gets really busy. It often feels like the only choice is to buckle down and power through it all. I’ve had my fair share of hectic periods, AKA, 12-hour days and working waaay past my bedtime. But the one thing that I always went back to during stressful times is the why behind my business! Sometimes we just need to revisit the reason why we started it all to remind ourselves of the... passion that drives us! For me, I started Strategic Charm Boutique to help female business owners take their creative businesses to new heights! Whenever you start feeling a creative block coming on, you just know that the only way to get out of it is with a good dose of fresh inspiration! Finding inspiration looks different to everyone. Escaping to nature. Chatting with friends to share ideas. Reading books and blog articles. Watching new movies and TV shows. Listening to music. Creating art or something with your hands. Traveling somewhere new (pre-COVID, of course). Personally, I find it comes down to a bala...nced amount of time alone to reset and reflect, and actively researching and consuming new media to get my creative juices flowing! Catching up with my girlfriends is my other favourite way to get inspired, since seeing other women pursue their passions always motivates me! The Centre for Christian Studies is a national theological school that specializes in the education of diaconal ministers. Men and women train at the Centre for Christian Studies to become ministers for the United Church of Canada and the Anglican Church of Canada. Originally founded in Toronto and now based in Winnipeg, Centre for Ch...ristian Studies also offers lifelong learning and continuing education for anyone who wants to deepen their faith-in-action. Students come from all over Canada as well as the US to study at the Centre for Christian Studies, although currently, all of their courses are offered online. We love that one of their values is Living out of a spirit of abundance and gratitude. It’s a wonderful reminder to carry with us to the end of 2020, which has been an especially difficult year due to the pandemic.
