Strategic Enforcement 21.02.2021

More loss at the hands of the invisible enemy. We talk tough tactics, and show a strong disdain for weak jawed leadership and those who diminish law enforcement and we have certainly carried our own weight of tragedy through this career.....just know that we chase the sunrise and have a good ear for listening to ANYONE who needs it. Do not hesitate to reach out, we know where you are. #herosinlifenotdeath #bluelinefamily #bluelinestrong #ptsdawareness

Great agency partnerships are built in joint operations. These form the base for rock solid long term relationships. Great to see this.

A great message from our amazing friends at Calgary Police Service .....lets ensure our Community Peace Officers are out there supporting this message as well and managing one of the biggest public and traffic safety risks out there. Distracted driving has caused more fatal collisions than speed and impaired driving and this is why ALL Police, Sheriffs and Community Peace Officers should be highly focused on this subject. Stay safe!

The debate continues.....and it shouldnt even be debate. So, here we go again, debating the value of an Officers life. We 100% support the arming of CPOs. Frankly, its pathetically disgusting that it hasnt happened yet.

An unfortunate ending, but a clean shoot none the less. Action is always faster than reaction. When you verbally claim to have a firearm behind your back amd you begin to count down your draw then suddenly shoot your hand from behind your back, you are likely counting down the last seconds of your life......how could an Officer believe otherwise?

Good to see Lac La Biche County

More poor decision making by a driver. Fortunately Officers were not seriously injured. This highlights the importance once again of being safe during any roadside operations, whether its parking, traffic or otherwise.

Great to see Sheriffs and Community Peace Officers from a wide variety of agencies together in support of Calgary Police.

Two Ontario Provincial Police Officers shot, one killed, while investigating a "property dispute" in small town rural Ontario. This is a lesson for all Community Peace Officers in all Towns, especially the small towns. This is something that Officers couldnt just "walk away" from. We hope justice is served against the offender and that the family of the lost officer will one day find peace.

Flashback to the mid 1990s, where I served as an Infantry Soldier with the Canadian Forces. After trying out repeatedly, I was honoured one year to be selected as a member of the Cenotaph Guard on a warm Remembrance Day. I recall the sun being in my eyes and I was forced to perform my rifle drill with my eyes closed and watering from the glare. The local newspapers caught a shot of me with a headline that stated "Vigil Guard Soldier overcome with grief during Remembrance Day ...ceremonies". While my emotional state was fully intact and not grief stricken at that time, much has happened since. I have lost colleagues and friends that chose to stay on.....lost to being killed over seas, lost to suicide, lost to mental health. I promised them all I would hold down the fort until my time came, and I do that today by serving our community in law enforcement and serving you all with training and imparting my knowledge to you. Promise to hold the line. Promise to remember until the time comes for you to pass the torch to those following you. #lestweforget #rememberthefallen
