Do you have kids age 8 to 16 who like to draw or paint? The Calgary Heritage Authority is hosting Children Draw Canada on Heritage weekend and there are still spaces for a few children. They don't have to be gifted artists - just enthusiastic! When: August 6th, 10AM 2PM... Where: Municipal Building (3rd St SE, between 7th and 8th Ave SE) With the help of your kids, we will transform the Municipal Building’s construction hoarding into a colorful Canadian mural! Your kids don’t paint very well? No problem! We’ll have several professional artists on site to help them out. What’s more? This event will be filmed as the backdrop to a Canada 150 video. Lunch and refreshments for the kids will be provided AND we’ll have a face painter on site for your kids to enjoy!
