Failure may sound like a harsh word to many, and yet as humans we experience it all the time. As adults, we may have learned the value of making mistakes and realize that with it comes the potential for learning and growth - yet it can still be hard to swallow when things do not work out as we had hoped. Our children want to succeed and flourish, just like we do, and may need extra guidance and reassurance when things turn out differently than they had anticipated. Here are some ways to encourage our young people the value of making mistakes and most importantly how to try again.
