We ...collected 550lbs of food for families in need. To all the beautiful, amazing people that walked through our doors this year, thank you. For myself it has been a year of heartbreak and exhaustion, a year of passionate reflection and recommitment to being and doing better, and a year of learning, unlearning and relearning. Like many of you, I am weary to the bone. I am grateful to my family, my team, and to all of the people who helped us get through this year from everyone at Strawberries and Sunshine Healing Centre, other health and healing professionals and essential workers to anti-racism organizers and our educators. I am so grateful for all you give and do. I am also grateful to my Strawberries community, you have shown me over and over again the power of love, healing and kindness. It’s been a challenging year for many but what has been consistent is our willingness as humans to never give up. We are a pretty extraordinary race and if we can learn anything from this year it is this depth of our strength, the beauty of our souls and just how bloody resilient we are. From fear, to lockdowns and restrictions, we are so much more than we realize. The human spirit is so much stronger than we can even imagine. May love continue to shine, may our courage overcome our fears and may our hope for a brighter future never diminish. It’s been an honor to serve and support so many in 2020 and I look forward to all the courageous heart centered souls that enter my life in 2021 . It’s been so humbling and a true honor to contribute in some way to your lives and the lives of your family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart To Rob, Jared and Jade I am so grateful for all of you. You are my foundation and loudest cheerleaders. Thank you for helping me making a difference. Our most favourite day of the year is back! But in order to keep everyone as safe as possible, it's going to look a bit different... This year we will be hosting a drive-through Food Drive to benefit #TCMG TriCities Moms Group! The #TCMG will use all of the donations to help those in our community who are struggling this season. On Sunday November 29, pull up out front between 11am - 1pm with your donation in your trunk (see below for suggested items) - we will grab your dona...tion & leave you a gift! Plus - the first 100 people will get a $20 gift certificate valid for any of our services!
