Way cool compact gear setup! I changed my audio interface (so I could channel audio from any mixer) and added an additional 4 hardware video inputs... Making 12 by default now... Further expandable to another 12 for a total of 24 video / media inputs though that is not the actual limit! Awesome! All of it has some very nice indicator lights which are mesmerizing but is actually controlled remotely through IPad devices! I can live switch cameras, play back videos, overlay live... titles and graphics with full visual effects while operating cameras! Now this is live streaming! This setup is geared to shooting concerts, sports, conferences... anything from some distance away or with fast motion subjects. It can be used to produce broadcast Tv quality productions via projectors, LED walls, or any display type as well as being live streamed! Not the complete gear setup, but part of the main operating control. Multiple computers are invoked for various other production aspects. Fun!

A very slickly produced and edited live stream here! This is an example of both how a few "extra" cameras (4 total) have great effect in the final product. This Bride (and family) really knew how to take best advantage of having a live stream to involve all of their family... It helped make the wedding even more of an "event" than normal for all of them... Which they all talk about right from the start. Family whether present or watching remotely, were actively talking back and forth as things happened: So everyone including the viewers were really involved in the moment... which was very cool for myself (the producer) to see as... it happened. I want to point out this stream is a great example of what you can do, and the benefits of LIVE! You can definitely get a lot of personal touches in, and really get a video which realistically conveys the spirit of the day and what people are feeling far more than a "slickly" produced, "Typical Slo-Mo" Wedding Video that runs barely 7 minutes, is several times more money, and you have to wait 2-3 months to receive! As mentioned, this family really made the most of it: They had planned on some activities and introductions before the actual ceremony (which everyone is free to do if they wish) or after. If you watch this whole video, you will see the guests present being introduced to their viewers... Then there is a fun bit of chatter with the Father of the bride and the "star" officiant (former Calgary Boxer Willie DeWitt) and a walkaround the ceremony site with a few encounters. It is all very amusing, and great for some of the people who obviously could not have otherwise met their distant relatives to get a few wishes in back and forth. Finally the ceremony itself, with some really cute personal vows written... And "almost" stealing the show, Mother of the bride is a real character and knows how to talk it up! Hilarious stories from her! We finish off with a look at everyone present and the goodbyes... not the least of which was accompanied by a great big dog hot on everyone's heels... Just love it! Things like this are definitely not just a "job" to be performed as a result... These are people's lives that VideoTekk gets to join as a special guest as well as performing a function... And the emotions of the moment are felt by all. This is what live streaming is all about! Just back from streaming a wedding, my second weekend in a row, so I am a very happy guy. Bride Brenna was super to work with, makes me wish I was DJing there are well... especially since they had a pizza truck out at their farm! Anyways, you will be seeing this and a few other recent streams completed fairly soon on my youtube channel. VERY hot weather out there once again for cameras to be running, but I always come up with some preventative solution to problems. Remember ..."Willie Dewitt??? Yes the former Boxer apparently made a huge upgrade to his career... Now working as a judge and officiating weddings! I talked to him a bit too since he was curious in my unique camera system. The parents speeches were special highlights at this one because their Mom's in each case really knew how to tell a good story! I will be looking forward to watching this over again myself, it was really funny. That is one nice thing too when I am packing up the gear after: Even people having attended the wedding are already going to check the live stream to see how it all (and they) look on camera! I also end up hearing phone calls with people from all over the world who had watched to the stream and are so happy it was available. I really enjoy packing up and hearing all the comments about it once things are done. Love being involved in special private "events" like this! Definitely not just a job, but something I love to be a part of. Each and every one is cool to be a part of, and emotional for me too (I'm an old softy).
