Why did you join Strength Camp? To start Something different and challenging... 3. Can you describe your top 3 goals you had before starting? I really needed to improve my lifting technique and form in order to lift what I wanted to. Mobility and stiffness is something I’ve always struggled with so I wanted to improve that aswell 4. Can you list your achievements you've had since beginning at Strength Camp? I’ve improved on every single one of my lifts which makes me feel great. I’m Really looking forward to the PR week in December to see how far I’ve come in 3 months at this camp. 5. What is the biggest obstacle you’ve faced in your journey? Making time and staying consistent in order to stay motivated. So far so good! 6. What kind of compliments have you received since you started training at Strength Camp? Darrick hits on me all the time now 7. What is your favorite thing about Strength Camp? The family atmosphere and work outs. If I miss a class I hear about it haha 8. What is your least favorite thing about Strength Camp? Wednesday’s 9. Who would you recommend Strength Camp to? Anyone! I joined in July 2020. 2. Why did you join Strength Camp? ... I was looking workout similar to CrossFit. So, I found Strenght Camp which I feel the perfect place for me. 3. Can you describe your top 3 goals you had before starting? Improve my strength, flexibility and focus 4. Can you list your achievements you've had since beginning at Strength Camp? Within a couple of months, I found significant improvement in my physique and feeling more active. 5. What is the biggest obstacle you’ve faced in your journey? Shin and back pain because of which I can't lift heavy weight but still I am putting some extra efforts to overcome those weakness. 6. What kind of compliments have you received since you started training at Strength Camp? "Hi! You started gaining some weight & looking nice too" 7. What is your favorite thing about Strength Camp? Before any exercise, Jake and Dom always explain the form and benefits of that exercise. Which helps me to target that particular muscle group. And last but not the least, group session. 8. Our THIRD Year in support of the homelessness and less privileged of Kamloops through hosting charity efforts for @kamloopsfoodbank , @awayhomekamloops , @icsyouthstreetoutreach !! . Here at the gym for the rest of the month and beyond we are accepting donations (Food, Essential Items, Money) for the homeless and less fortunate of Kamloops. 2020 is a year especially there are people who need these organizations to survive. . On December 21st we will host an open gym event ...to bring on more donations. On this day all participants are required to donate $10 to @awayhomekamloops , our local foundation for Homeless Youth. Obviously participating will require that we follow the most up to date restrictions, but we hope to still have a decent turnout under the guidelines. @awayhomekamloops went through a tragic loss inside its organization and Strength Camp is here to support. . We are looking forward to another year of successful charity for our local community. Hey Guys, Here's what we are going to do to stay open: Speed Phase is going to be changed so that there will be no High Intensity Interval Training, as it is now "banned". ... Think of it as an extended Strength Phase with the Speed Exercises. This will include Wednesday and Saturday being changed to Strength / Bodybuilding. Zoom classes and posting recordings will be HIIT for at home. More cardio at home and less cardio at the gym. Everyone Has been great with social distancing and cleaning, and the book in system has been working to keep the classes small enough to do so. Lets keep Growing Stronger. I love you guys, thank you for supporting me through this, I will always work and stand strong to keep you healthy, strong, and becoming the strongest version of ourselves Mind-Body-Soul.
