Lockdown? No worries. Since COVID started we have been working with clients virtually and maintaining good exercise habits. Along with very needed mobility and not letting those little aches or pains crop up. And we can probably use stuff you already have in your home. Even bodyweight movements modified can provide a very effective workout no matter your skill or ability level. Supervision is done daily as well. If you're sick and tired of going back and forth to the gym only to have it shut down again let me know!

Okay so things with COVID have been...different. As it has with most people. In the beginning, you're trying to survive. As a self-employed person, everything is at risk. My gym closed. I had to pivot almost immediately into online work. Thankfully my clients value my skill enough that many of them transitioned through a tough time and we made a go of it - together. I will be forever grateful for that. I home schooled my kids. I thankfully got along with my partner. I tried... to think about creative ways to help people but because all you can think about is where the next grocery bill or rent payment is coming from you tend to stick with what you know. Six months in, gyms reopen. Great. But I still have two small kids and have to consider the risk to myself and others. So I go back into the gym one day a week, and within six weeks that is over thanks to lockdown #2. Okay folks. It's time. Time to embrace reality the way that it is. And give up the old paradigm. I've invested a lot of time and money so that I can create an enviroment where either virtually or in person I can still help people, and my twenty years of experience and knowledge hasn't changed. So if you want to experience one on one coaching at the best level, come on board. After the holiday season in 2021, prepare to go to the next level and experience pain free living with a guide who is dedicated to giving you tools and resources that actually make sense and work. Home workout time! So easy even kids can do it. BW Squats Push ups V sits... Reverse Lunges Band rows Jacks (kids taught me that one) Only equipment needed was one resistance band for pulling movements. There's a ton you can do with only bodyweight starting with simple isometrics standing up if getting down is an issue. I'll be posting more workouts in the coming weeks!

I've been mostly in hibernation over the past couple of months due to COVID-19. Still servicing clients virtually on a weekly basis. Things have definitely changed, and I will be changing with them. Good morning everyone! I hope that you are all staying home, staying safe and are well. This is an unprecedented time for our community and as a result many of us need to adjust. My business is no different, as the gym where I see people one on one is closed until further notice. I’m hoping it will only be 4-6 weeks but we really have no idea when things will return to normal. ... Therefore I’m happy to announce that I am launching the ability to do virtual sessions online. This is a great way to stay connected, make sure you have someone checking into your movement, and the great thing is that it doesn’t require any travel just an internet video connection. You will still receive the same service and attention to detail and skill I’ve built over my 20 years in the business. Also, this will give those of you who are from elsewhere the ability to finally work with me directly! Happy couple at top of a mountain! Daniel and Leslie have been working hard over the past year with me (and on their own) to be able to summit two peaks in the White Mountains - in the same weekend. Their hard work paid off on the weekend with summit success! Last year they tried and had to stop before the top, but this year they managed to work hard and get there. Both are also in what they call the best shape they can remember and are killing times on their bikes while being pain free. They can do the Lusk trail 3 times in a row without batting an eye. So grateful to be a part of their journey towards summiting every peak over the next five years!

Yet another study shows that fasted cardio doesn't make a significant difference. But here's my stance - if it motivates you more to do it fasted go right ahead. The difference comes from consistency and doing it, not from if you're fasted or not. I guess that's my way of saying you do you. Listened to this podcast today and anyone who wants some inspiration needs to. Mike McCastle set a world record for the most pull-ups in 24 hours - over 5800! But that's not the most amazing part. He tried the first time, failed (at only 3100!) and put himself into the hospital, then decided he didn't want to let people down and did it AGAIN and broke the record. And he also did it wearing a 30 pound backpack on his back even though he didn't need to in order to represen...t the load that veterans with mental illness face. Resiliency and the ability to push through insane amounts of adversity are things we all need more of sometime. I myself went through a crazy amount of adversity in November to February. What can you do to overcome obstacles?
