Calves too tight, glutes inhibited, hip flexors short, low back sore, but needed to perform hinging activities for his goal. Now all the best training exercises are available to him because he has sufficient joint Range of Motion. Don't add mechanical stress to your body if you can't assume the proper positions. @Regranned from @b_elite_ken - This was the answer to my second question on my Canprev magnesium post. Magnesium is best used when the evening has begun. It relaxes the nervous system. Which sets the stage for serotonin to elevate and GABA as well. This also tells cortisol to decrease and melatonin to increase. ( this is a very raw description. But I am keeping it simple) I have had some clients who were extremely magnesium deficient wake up more when they take mag or have difficulty falling asleep. These people I suggest to take it earlier, 5pm 4pm 3pm. I have even had clients take it at noon. But these were extreme cases of high cortisol wired people. Whether its powder, pills or cream.
