Do one thing a day that scares you This past week I got the opportunity to take part in the RBC Startup Cup. When I first got the email asking me to participate in this pitch competition I was thrilled. (Like jumping up and down thrilled) My level of excitement was thru the roof and I felt unstoppable. Slowly, I started to feel anxious and I started to doubt myself. Can I really do this? ... I dont even have much product yet. Am I really a business? I did it and god am I ever proud of myself. I honestly am 99% sure I blacked out during the whole pitch but I FRICKEN DID IT. Stride is going to be so much more than just a clothing brand and I cant wait to keep sharing this journey with all of you. + ... you guys ... after what feels like 100 years, @strideactive second line is going to be announced soon all because I believed in myself and didnt let doubt win. I didnt win the competition but it was a huge huge huge learning experience. Oh and also... YOUR GIRL GOT SOME FUNDING!!! Thank you for being apart of this journey and for continuously supporting me. We are live baby This is truly a dream come true and I cant express the happiness and gratitude I am feeling right now. I just want to take the time to thank everyone that has supported me one way or another in this journey. Starting up something is scary as fudge () but I know that Stride Active will make a change in our world one step at a time.
