Anxiety, depression and loneliness are all beginning to creep into my mind despite my best intentions of remaining positive during the pandemic. I am grateful to be safe at home. But after five weeks in solo isolation, the constant barrage of surreal news coverage and uncertainty of what’s to come next, it is all starting to take a toll on my mental health (I’m guessing I’m not alone in this). In hopes of remaining optimistic, I have made long walks in my neighbourhood a daily ritual and am lucky enough to see lots of spring blossoms along the way. I miss people, I miss hugs, I miss social plans, I miss beers at my local pub. I miss my life. Sending virtual hugs to all who can relate #WeAreInThisTogether
