Hello Families, I just wanted to let you all know that there will also be 1 afternoon per week being started next week. If you feel that an afternoon would be better suited to your needs and schedule please send me an email and if you can please fill out the form below to register for a possible spot this day. Hello StrongStart families, I am very excited to let you know that Morfee StrongStart will re-open on October 5th on a sign-up basis. As much as we all miss the StrongStart where everyone is welcome to drop-in and play together, our program will have to look different for now to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.... We will move our StrongStart programs to 5 week sessions. Families can sign up for one session/day a week. (If there is extra space and you would like 2 days a week that is also an option) We acknowledge that we will not be able to support the same numbers of families as we did. We are sorry and we look forward to being able to open up our programs for more families. I will be contacting families through (emails, phone calls and social media). To sign up for the program (please fill out this form). Program Protocols and Expectations Screening: All individual will be screened prior to entry to the school. If you or your children are ill, stay at home. We need to continue with physical distancing between families at all times while we are in the school building Maximum of one adult per family group (please contact us if you would like an exemption). We will be requiring all adults to wear a mask while on school grounds. Please arrive on time. The program will start right at 9:30 and ends at 11:00. You are welcome to leave early. Upon your arrival, please wait at the designated entrance for the ECE to guide you into the school, wash your hands upon entering the building. If you do not show up within 10 minutes after your session starts, we will consider that you are not attending on the day Take home snacks will be provided for your child at the end of the program. No food or eating during the program. Please eat before coming to the program. You are welcome to bring your own water bottle to the program. Please do not show up to the program unless you received a confirmation email from me. If all the spaces are full, you will be placed on the waitlist and I will try my best to accommodate you as soon as the space is available. Here we go. SS will be opening on Monday, October 5. Unfortunately, we will not be a drop in program at this point in the start up process. We will be doing a sign-up process via email, text, message, phone call etc, whatever method works best for you and your family. I will be sending emails out to those that have emails on file so please look out for those, I will call or message those who don't. If I don't have you email and you would like to part of it please message ...me, comment or call (250-997-6340) and let me know what it is. If you know of families that would like to participate and are not on FB please pass along this information and have them contact me. There will also be a health check sheet screening that will need to be completed upon visits. Morning Everyone, so I have a small amount of information for you all. Firstly, our "start date" which is subject to change is October 5, 2020. Huge changes do have to happen and I do not have all the info in regards to that and what it will look like. What I do know if that it will NOT be drop in and sign-up will be mandatory in order to attend on your preferred day. I will try and get more information and stuff figured out. Please be patient with the system and know it is in place to keep you and your child(ren)s health and safety at a priority. Thanks again everyone.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to touch base with all of you. I hope your summer has been relaxing and enjoyable and you’ve enjoyed a staycation or maybe some travel around BC, we live in a pretty beautiful place. I stayed home most of the summer other than a little bit of camping and a kayak trip down the crooked river. It was relaxing and enjoyable even with all the rain. I wanted to give you guys an update on what’s happening in regards to Strong Start and COVID-19. I wish I... had more information on an opening date for you but unfortunately I don’t. Hopefully we will be open sooner than later but I don’t have any dates and we are waiting for a start up program plan from the higher-ups and until that is received we have to stay closed, so I will keep you updated with information as I receive it and I will keep you guys informed to the best of my ability. They are starting to hatch!!!! How exciting. I’ll try and get a video.
