Our next take out night is Saturday November 28th. To help reduce the line we are going to take orders in half hour pick-up time slots. When you email or call to preorder please request your preferred time, we will contact you to confirm. We have limited spots available for each time slot, so we will only be able to take preorders this time.

Thank you to everyone that came out tonight to support the hall. You helped make it a success. It was nice to meet everyone even briefly. Can’t wait till the hall is able to reopen for indoor events. After seeing the turn out from tonight’s take out we will definitely do it again soon.

Hello everyone, this is Joe Vizard The hall manager. As most of you know the hall has been shut down due to the crisis our world is going through right now. On a personal note, it has been my pleasure to serve you and this community for the last 5 months. When I took this job I was excited to make this hall busier and more recognizable to the community, not only of Belle River, but to Windsor and Essex County as a whole. I believe this is happening and will continue to happen... in the years to come once this situation has passed us. I worked in the field of children's mental health before this for 20 years and because of this situation I believe I am being called to back to this field with the belief that children of all ages will need the support for years to come. This being said, I have decided to leave the position of Hall Manager here at the amazing St. Simon St. Jude Parish Hall. I will be going back to my previous employment so I can continue the amazing work that my colleagues and I have been continuing for many years at Maryvale. This is also a sad day for me as I move on from this place. The good news is that I am leaving it in the most capable of hands. Monica Hennesssy, will be your new Hall Manager as of the beginning of June. She will be the first female manager this place has seen and will bring new perspective to the position. She comes with many ideas and lots of energy. I feel great full that I am able to leave this in the hands of a great friend. I will still be around on the occasional bingo night and event to make sure I say a proper goodbye (although not forever goodbye). I thank you all for your continued support and I hope and pray that everyone and more will come to our bingo's when they start up again. I also pray and hope that as a community we will continue to support this hall, as it is a vital part of Belle River and St Simon and St Jude Parish, which has been hit so hard, financially and emotionally, during this time. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces again. This will pass and we will thrive once again. Please join me in wishing Monica the best during this transition. Joe Vizard
