Rotary Santa and his Rotarian elves were in place at the Garcelon Civic Center Friday evening, Dec.4th . They saw 79 families (about 350-400 mums, dads and kids in total) for Santa photos - one at a time, safely but with big smiles behind the masks :)

Partnerships work when we think of those who might go without :)

This bear was a willing passenger in the Downey Ford that collected toys of any kind at Canadian Tire TODAY with 98.1 Charlotte FM providing the music and commentary and Rotarians doing the collection work. People did out to help fill the bear's van - it was full and then some by mid afternoon (in the rain!) - and there were also generous cash donations totaling over $600 :)

Toy Drive today - Partnership is the key - Downey Ford, Canadian Tire, 98.1Charlotte FM and St. Stephen-Milltown Rotary Club - on site at Canadian Tire collecting toys for distribution to needy children in Charlotte County this Christmas.

In November Les Thomson, Rotary Sergeant at Arms, accepted, on behalf of the club, a certificate of recognition honouring 100 years of service to the community from Kathy Bockus, MLA Saint Croix.

Last week John Williamson, MP New Brunswick Southwest, presented Rotary President Mike Smith with a certificate of congratulations on the club's 100th anniversary.
