SSVDP Recycling Initiative Want to get rid of all those recyclables and help out your local Food Bank at the same time? Now you can donate your recyclables to SSVDP Food Bank. Here's how...three easy steps!! WHERE: Any of the following Ever Green Depot locations: Blackmarsh Road, Waterfordbridge Road, Elizabeth Avenue, or Torbay Bay Road.... WHAT: "Green Depots accept ready-to-serve beverage containers sold in this province on which a deposit is paid." i.e. Plastic pop bottles or cans, plastic water bottles, beer cans/bottles, glass wine/liquor bottles, Tetra and gable top containers HOW: Go to Express Kiosk(Max. 10 bags). Enter SVDP phone number 579-7201. Enter # of bags (or box for wine/liquor). Machine will print tags that you'll stick on each bag. You can print a confirmation receipt if you wish, but it's not necessary. SVDP will receive an automatic confirmation of the deposit and the credit. Please note: Wine/liquor bottles should go in a box for Kiosk drop-off or if you use your own reusable container go to the counter and speak to a staff member. They will count the items, credit SVDP account, and return your containers. The Green Depot staff will be happy to help with any questions or bulk orders (over 20 bags). Check out www.greendepotnl.ca for additional information.
