Compline is an evening service, typically held before you go to bed. It is meant to help relax and focus you. The scriptures remind us that "God grants sleep to those he loves." In a world full of things making people anxious it is important to remember whose hands the future is in. Join us for compline tonight. Below is a link to the service for tonight if you'd like to join us. Tonight's readings are:... Psalm 100 We are walking together through the Psalms as we quiet and ready ourselves for rest. Proverbs 3:24, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."
Excited to hear our placement student take the pulpit.

Compline is a nightly spiritual discipline that helps us settle and to rest in God. We are reminded that it is God alone who sustains us and keeps us. Sleep is a gift from God, the chance to rest and to trust in him. You can find a link to an electronic BCP at: http://prayerbook.ca/resources/bcponline/compline/... Our readings for today's compline come from: Psalm 123 May the Lord bless you and keep you.
"Gift or Responsibility" this is the name of our sermon today. The focus of our message comes from Matthew chapter 25.
