To our amazing Family, Friends, Supporters and Sponsors: It is with great sadness that we finally announce publicly our decision to not host the Darryl Stubbings Memorial Golf Tournament this year. This was an extremely tough decision on so many levels. Considering the situation we all find ourselves in regarding COVID-19, the health and safety of our community comes first and foremost. We would like to thank our committee, volunteers, golfers and sponsors for all of your s...upport. We have had an incredible 3 years raising over $80,000 for CMHA Thunder Bay while raising suicide awareness in our community. At this time, we would like to ask all of you to PLEASE support our local businesses. They need us now more than ever! They are the ones who support community events and sponsor local sports teams and many of them have been hit hard by this pandemic. Now more than ever, raising suicide awareness is so important. We unfortunately have seen a rise in suicides and attempted suicides over the last few months. We need to keep talking and keep the conversations going. We ask you to reach out to your loved ones who may be struggling. You can save a life. Ask about suicide directly. Be there to listen. And keep them safe. Stay safe! Stay healthy!
