This was a fabulous makeover for the beautiful @hannnamer by our amazing stylist @corrie.c.hair! Hannah had some old highlights, a brassy old root colour and her natural root coming through. So, she wanted an icy blonde with a shadow root to blend in her natural colour. It was a long process... Every single piece of hair had to be lightened to get rid of the orangey band. Then a shadow root to blend it all in and a toner on the ends to cool it down... And of course a sexy n...ew shorter cut! I mean, this turned out really, really GORGEOUS... We had so much fun with @cydroutledge yesterday! If you enjoy eating at Ashburham Alehouse, you’ll recognize Cynthia as one of their amazing servers! Well... You might NOT recognize her now, because our lovely new stylist, @corrie.c.hair transformed her from a dark chocolate brown to a beautiful blonde! This was Cynthia’s first time lightening her hair and her first time getting professional colour! Ooooh, there’s nothing we love more than a total transformation! Super sexy and feminine and still enough length to pull back into a cute pony too, btw! Happy New Year from Studio East and welcome to our new home at 185 Charlotte st!!! I know, we’re two weeks in to the new year, I’m totally late. What can I say, it’s been a little hectic! I thought I would finally share some pics from our whirlwind reno back in November. With only 2 weeks from the time we got possession of the new location to opening day, let’s just say it was INTENSE! Especially because we did most of the work ourselves... With the help from some amazing fam...ily and friends, of course! Actually, it feels pretty awesome now that I see the finished product. Well, almost finished. I have to admit we’re still doing touch ups and making little improvements every day! Luckily, I’m a good little painter as most of you know... Hair, walls, furniture... I paint it! It’s fall. There’s no doubt about it. Summer is O.V.E.R.... Sigh! At this time of year we often have clients come in and say, Well, I guess I gotta go darker now that it’s fall... Who says?! With all the excitement of moving and all the the big changes coming this fall, we’ve kinda fallen off the wagon with the posting on social media! To our dear friends of Studio East, We would like to announce some exciting changes happening @ Studio East this fall! Our time on Queen Street has come to an end, as the owners of our building need our space to expand their business. As much as we have loved our location on Queen Street for the past 6 years, change is not a bad thing! We all need to grow and sometimes be forced to reach beyond our comfort zone to do so! That being said, here’s the sad part... Seana has dec...ided to spread her wings and see what the world beyond Peterborough has to offer... London, Ontario is calling her name! I know, I know! We’re sad to see her go too! We’re going to miss her so much, but we’re so happy for Seana to be starting her new life in London! Ok, so now for the good news! Caroline is reopening the shop in a new location! She and Deborah, along with some talented NEW faces, will be relocating to Charlotte st in downtown Peterborough! We would be thrilled to have all of you, new and existing clients, come visit us at our new shop when it opens this November... More details to come!

Our favourite French teacher Miss Dales came in for her big back to school haircut! She lost a good 6 inches and looks absolutely GORGEOUS in her sleek new bob!
