Reposting as the chair pictures were weirdly small on the first post. These chairs were in pretty rough shape. After a lot of sanding by Darran, and fantastic colour choice by Karen, they are gorgeous. I sometimes tell people we are sanders, not painters. Once the surface is prepped, patched and sanded , 80% of the work is done. Most DIY jobs that come to me to be saved are because the upfront prep work was not done properly. The colour is North Sea Blue and Karen's dining room looks ready for Christmas!

Where are my Christmas crafters? I know for sure there are some of you out there. I don't really craft throughout the year, but I love crafting at Christmas. Post your Christmas crafts or a picture of whatever your creative outlet may be. I would love to see.

Benjamin Moore has announced the colour of the year for 2021. Aegean Teal. This midtone colour has a little bit of everything, with an emphasis on teal and greys. It’s warm, soothing and inviting, not too light but not too dark. Anyone want to try it? I know I do. Take a look at some of out recent projects. Black is insanely popular this year.

Here are two great dining room sets that have been sprayed and refinished to fit in with the owners current style. The cute little bookshelf needed a repair and definitely benefited from a coat of paint. I was happy the client chose a "colour", which suits the style perfectly. The little end table was meant for the cottage, but now the client is thinking her home may be a better place. The cute little chairs were sprayed antique Jade. Thanks again Paul and Pauline.
