Today is the 1st Day of Fall! As temperatures start to get cooler, animals will seek shelter in non ideal locations. We understand that people don’t want mic...e, snakes, lizards..in their home. However, please NEVER use sticky traps or rodenticides. They are inhumane and the animal suffers a slow and painful death. Instead use live traps, ultrasonic repellers, and unpleasant scents. Studio 79 Spa is in full swing! It’s been a bit of a slow start with covid, but it’s getting there.

Now introducing Studio 79 Stay & Play (Includes PAWdicure!) This service is bookable over the phone by calling/texting us at 250-331-1308 Double Dog family? Include the second dog for only $10 during a 4 hour or 8 hour Stay & Play visit!... Dogs will have Roughly 750 sq ft of indoor play space and a small secure fenced outdoor space. Best suited for small quiet dogs who just want to have some social time, or calm/senior large dogs who don’t require a large outdoor space and just wanna chill. Double Dog family? Include the second dog for only $10 during a 4 hour or 8 hour Stay & Play visit!

E’s cat grass is now available at Studio 79 Spa for $2 (or by donation) My daughter is saving up for some LEGO and would like some spending money she’s a budding entrepreneur on her first business venture.

I have very few spots left for the end of July and August is booking up now. If you will need an appointment in the coming months please book ahead to reserve your appointment. I’ve reformatted my online booking page and it seems to have resolved the issues some people were having booking online please book at www.studio79spa.com... Repeat appointments are available for 15 prebooked appointments so you don’t have to worry about booking future visits.

Please do not walk your dogs on the large grassy area on the other side of the building, this is my landlady’s yard and multiple owners have allowed their dogs to poop on her yard and walk away. There is a grassy strip beside my salon and poop bags will be available for owners there.

I’m getting busy and currently booking into June I’m now offering & recommending anyone able to set up re occurring appointments request it at your next appointment or via text/email/fb message with the following details and a start date. So you can secure your future grooming appointments. Reoccurring appointments will fall on the same day at your chosen interval at the same time (with the exception of appointments that may need to be moved up or down an hour due to a co...nflicting appointment) you will then receive a list of your future set appointments. You can always change an appointment closer to the date or cancel appointments. Reoccurring appointments are best for people who have a certain day of the week that generally works well for grooming appointments and for those who want to remain on a consistent schedule. With reoccurring appointments you never need to book another appointment again.

A few updates. IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN SICK PLEASE STAY HOME! Last minute cancelations welcome to stop the spread. 1) As of June 1st I will no longer be offering the first visit discount of $20 (unless you have a promo code from one of my various social media posts)... 2) as of June 1st my new prices will be in effect for anyone who had their first visit after April 1st and any dogs that are not on a 6-12 week routine grooming schedule. 3) I am booking into late May as of now, if you’d like an appointment within the next 5 weeks please book sooner than later as there are a shortage of open groomers. 4) as of June 1st animals coming in with poor coat condition/severe matting will be subject to additional charges. Please use hand sanitizer (on my counter) when dropping off and picking up. It’s there to keep you, and customers after you safe.
